Pew4Speed

About
Pew4Speed is a 2D rail shooter-muliplayer game whereby players have to defend themselves from the onslaught of monsters while they move to the end of the stage. Up to 4 players will be able to play at any point in time and there are a total of 12 stages in the game for the player to conquer. Players are expected to spend up to 5 minutes per stage. Players are also given the ability to create their own tracks with the built-in game editor.

Role Summary

As the lead game designer, I was responsible for driving the general direction of the game as well as creating the scenarios for the players. Implementing the levels was also part of my job scope.

As the AI Designer and Programmer, I was responsible for both designing all the AI's within the game as well as implementing them for use within the game.

​

As the game mechanics programmer, I was responsible for the character controls.

​

As the UX designer, I was in charge of driving the direction of what the player would enjoy, from the main menu all the way into the end of the game.
